EATONTON RESIDENTS AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS AT ABAC

TIFTON—Rachel King and Andrea Sweeney from Eatonton have been awarded scholarships from the ABAC Foundation to attend Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College during the 2009-10 academic year.

Sweeney, an animal science major, received a Presidential scholarship.  King is a forest resources major. Both are graduates of Putnam County High School.

The application deadline for the fall term at ABAC is Aug. 1.  Fall semester classes begin Aug. 17.
