BATTLE BOTS CLASS BEGINS JULY 20 AT ABAC

TIFTON—A Battle Bots class will be offered starting July 20 through the Public Service and Business Outreach Center on the campus of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Pre-registration is required.

This class will take place July 20 - 24 from 9 a.m. – noon in the Yow Forestry and Wildlife building, Room 108. There is a fee of $109 for this class. It is geared toward children ages eight – twelve.

Participants will learn to design and build motorized cars and other vehicles by using principles of simple and complex machines, gears, and mechanical advantage. Then participants will try to flip, push, or smash their opponent’s battle vehicles.
