 BASKETBALL CAMP FOR KIDS BEGINS JULY 6 AT ABAC

            TIFTON—A Basketball Camp for girls and boys from 5-11 years old will be held on the campus of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College beginning July 6 through the Public Service and Business Outreach Center.  Pre-registration is required.

            Former Tift County High School star Aaron Gibbs will be the top instructor the camp.  After a four-year varsity career with the Blue Devils, Gibbs was a standout player for the Bobcats of Georgia College and State University.

The camp will take place Monday – Friday, July 6 – 10 from 9 a.m. – noon at Thrash Gym. There is a fee of $89.  The camp is geared to girls and boys ages 5 – 11 years old.

This camp will teach the fundamentals of basketball including ball-handling, defense and shooting skills, as well as one-on-one moves in game situations.
