VALDOSTA OFFICERS GRADUATE FROM ABAC POLICE ACADEMY

TIFTON— Benjamin A. Carmichael and Freddie D. Wright, III of Valdosta and John R. Marion of Lake Park were among 17 individuals who recently received certificates at graduation exercises for the 233rd session of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC) Regional Police Academy at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. All three graduates were sponsored by the GPSTC.

The GPSTC regularly holds multi-week intensive training sessions designed to acquaint officers with state-of-the-art law enforcement techniques. The Academy operates in cooperation with the School of Human Sciences at ABAC.
