LEE COUNTY OFFICERS GRADUATE FROM ABAC POLICE ACADEMY

TIFTON— Christopher J. Hansen and Pete Hansen of Leesburg, sponsored by the GPSTC, and Marcus D. Harris and Shallyn M. Hartley of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office were among 17 individuals who recently received certificates at graduation exercises for the 233rd session of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC) Regional Police Academy at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

Harris received first place in Firearms and served as president of the 233rd session.

The GPSTC regularly holds multi-week intensive training sessions designed to acquaint officers with state-of-the-art law enforcement techniques. The Academy operates in cooperation with the School of Human Sciences at ABAC.
