DONALSONVILLE STUDENT MAKES TOP FIVE IN MR. ABAC CONTEST

TIFTON—Tyler Poole of Donalsonville was chosen as one of the top five contestants in the recent Mr. ABAC contest at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.  

Poole, a sophomore agribusiness major, is the son of Phillip and Mellanie Poole. He was sponsored by the Agribusiness Club. He was also voted “Most Photogenic”.

The winner of the contest was Junior Chapman, a freshman agriculture education major from Jasper. Chapman also received the “Best Hair” award.

Other top five finishers were Soloman AbouHarb, a sophomore wildlife technology major from Ashburn; Ryan Reese, a sophomore political science major from Fitzgerald; and Kyle Peters, a sophomore athletic training major from Buford. Stephen Saylor, an agriculture education major from Conyers, won both the Essay and Contestants’ awards.

            Contestants were sponsored by campus clubs, athletic teams, and student media. The Mr. ABAC contest was sponsored, produced, and directed by the Family and Consumer Sciences Club.
