ABAC TENNIS TEAM TO HOST CLINIC FEB. 7 FOR RELAY FOR LIFE

TIFTON – The tennis teams at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College will host a clinic Feb. 7 for local middle and high school players to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. All funds raised will go to ABAC’s team in the Relay For Life in support of the American Cancer Society.

The clinic will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the ABAC Tennis Center on Feb. 7. There is a fee of $37 per person for this clinic. All participants will take home a t-shirt. Make all checks payable to the American Cancer Society.

Those interested in participating should contact the ABAC athletics office at (229) 391-4930 or by e-mailing ABAC tennis coach Alan Kramer at akramer@abac.edu.

Participants will need to provide their name, grade, ranking at school, phone number and t-shirt size prior to the event.

Clinic participants will be split into groups based on skill level. Fundamentals of the game will be emphasized including serves, volley, backhand and forehand.
