BUFORD STUDENT MAKES TOP FIVE IN MR. ABAC CONTEST

Peters of Buford was chosen as one of the top five contestants in the recent
Mr. ABAC contest at
Peters, a sophomore athletic training major, is the son of Greg and Wendy Peters. He was sponsored by the ABAC Ambassadors. He was also voted “Best Dressed” in the competition.
The winner of the contest was Junior Chapman, a freshman agriculture education major from Jasper. Chapman also received the “Best Hair” award.
Other top five finishers were Soloman AbouHarb, a sophomore wildlife technology major from Ashburn; Ryan Reese, a sophomore political science major from Fitzgerald; and Tyler Poole, a sophomore agribusiness major from Donalsonville. Stephen Saylor, an agriculture education major from Conyers, won both the Essay and Contestants’ awards.
Contestants were sponsored by campus clubs, athletic teams, and student media. The Mr. ABAC contest was sponsored, produced, and directed by the Family and Consumer Sciences Club.
