ADEL RESIDENT AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP AT ABAC

TIFTON—Alyssa Simmons of Adel was awarded a sophomore scholarship at the recent Honors Day ceremony at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

The award, provided through the ABAC Foundation, was based on a number of criteria such as leadership ability, character, academic excellence, and financial need.

Simmons, a history major, received an ABAC Foundation Scholars scholarship.  This year marks the first time ever that ABAC Foundation Scholars received a second year of funding for their scholarships.
