SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED TO ABAC STUDENTS DURING HONORS
DAY
TIFTON—Twenty-seven scholarships were awarded
to
Recipients of the
Presidential Scholars scholarships from the ABAC Foundation were Colton Farrow, an animal science major
from Pitts; Jessica Kalina, a
pre-veterinary medicine major from Williamson; and Tanner Newhouse, a rural studies major from
ABAC Foundation Scholars scholarships were presented to Gregory Bowen, a political science major from Fitzgerald; Andrew Kicklighter, a biology major from Sycamore; Megan Marshall, a pre-medicine major from Sylvester; Lauren Monk, an early childhood education major from Sylvester; Marley Myers, a physical education major from Ashburn; and Lora Nichols, a biology major from Tifton.
Other recipients of the ABAC Foundation Scholars scholarships were Jessica Padgett, an agricultural communications major from Sylvester; Mitchell Potts, a business administration major from Sylvester; Brant Sandifer, a pre-dentistry major from Tifton; Alyssa Simmons, a history major from Lenox; and Stephen Tyus, a pre-engineering major from Moultrie.
Weetie and Homer Rankin scholarships from the ABAC Foundation were awarded to Jacob Griner, an agricultural business and agricultural economics major from Taylorsville; Karina Sorenson, a pre-veterinary medicine major from Loganville; Alejandra Vazquez, a business administration major from Omega; Cody Herndon, an agriculture education major from Hazlehurst; Taylor Evors, an undeclared major from Blackshear; Jacob Gore, a pre-engineering major from Bonaire; and Nicole Strickland, a business administration major from Tifton.
Six Watson-Brown Foundation scholarships were awarded to Andrew Shumpert, a forest resources major from Neeses, SC; Megan Frith, an early childhood education major from Jakin; Justin Brantley, a nursing major from Denton; Sean Blankenship, a biology/agriculture engineering major from Seffner, Fla.; Taylor Goldman, an animal science major from Lincolnton; and William Devin Pearce, an agricultural education major from Surrency.
