	Player of the Week (January 19): Kayla Carter from Georgia Perimeter College: Freshman ½ guard contributed 10 points, 9 rebounds (5 offensive), and 4 steals playing only 16 minutes to lead the lady jaguars to a 54-43 win over South Georgia Tech. Her outstanding rebounding from the guard position gave the lady jaguars second chances at scoring off the glass. In addition, her ability to drive opened up offense for her as well as her teammates. This was the lady jaguars' first game following the winter break due to weather conditions.
