Pop-Up Blocker in Internet Explorer
after installation of Windows Service Pack 2

 

If you are using WebCT or other sites that use legitimate pop-up blockers, you will need to do one of the following.

Note: If you have Yahoo! Companion Toolbar, you will need to allow or disable pop-ups also.

 

Disable Pop-Up Blocker in Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet Explorer

  2. Tools [menu]

  3. Pop-Up Blocker [pull-down]

  4. Turn Off Pop-Up Blocker [side menu]

Allow Pop-Ups from Specific Site

  1. Open Internet Explorer

  2. Tools [menu]

  3. Pop-Up Blocker [pull-down]

  4. Pop-Up Blocker Settings... [side menu]

  5. For WebCT CE, type webct.usg.edu in the Address of Web site to allow [text box]

  6. Add [button]

  7. For WebCT Vista, type vista.uga.edu in the Address of Web site to allow [text box]

  8. Add [button]

  9. For General Chemistry Now 2.0, type webquiz.ilrn.com in the Address of Web site to allow [text box]

  10. Add [button]

  11. Close [button]
