Abraham Baldwin is committed to the philosophy that in a total educational
process the student activity program should supplement the academic
program and that such a program should be student oriented. Faculty and
staff members act as advisors but students plan and implement the
programs. The College provides a variety of extra-curricular activities
that not only supplement the academic program but also provide training
and leadership opportunities as well as entertainment. In order to keep
the student activity program one of the best in the state, each student is
personally encouraged to take part in one or more of the programs offered.
The Student Handbook contains more detailed information about the
student activity program.
