The Associate Degree is awarded to students who fulfill a two-year
organized curriculum of college work either in a career program or in a
parallel or transfer program. The degree, however, does not in itself
entitle a student to transfer to advanced standing in a four year college
or university. Each institution prescribes its own admission requirements.
A student who wishes to transfer to a higher-level institution must
satisfy the course and grade requirements of the college to which he/she
intends to transfer.
