From: GeorgiA's Banner Enhanced STudent system [GABEST- L@LISTSERV.UGA.EDU] on behalf of GaBEST-Announce@usg.edu Sent: Friday, April 03, 2009 2:18 PM To: GABEST-L@LISTSERV.UGA.EDU Subject: New Media Resources in the works for the Banner V8 Upgrade PURPOSE: The GeorgiaBEST Support Team is in the process of implementing a resource center utilizing a new media repository called edu1world.org. edu1world.org is a virtual community for education administrative professionals, vendors, associations, supporters, and faculty who are interested in and work with technology. It is a community where members can connect, collaborate, communicate, and access the information they need in order to improve individual performance and effectiveness in their work. Within this community the GeorgiaBEST team has already set up a special social networking group just for our users. Here you will find articles, presentations, wikis, newsletters, blog posts and much, much more. We hope to encourage more community sharing and collaboration in association with the Banner V8 upgrade.
