4-year degree in Rural StudiesClick here to find out more about
our newest 4-year degree!

Welcome to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College
Georgia’s State College of Choice!

ABAC has a rich educational history and continues to make history in the academic area. Most recently, our addition of unique bachelor’s degree programs in Rural Studies is setting the standard for years to come. Similarly, our bachelor’s degree programs in Turfgrass and Golf Course Management and Diversified Agriculture are cutting-edge choices.  If your home state is a member of the Academic Common Market, you may be eligible for out of state tuition savings up to $6,000 per year! If you are interested in a more traditional bachelor’s degree program, check out the Georgia Southwestern State University degrees in Early Childhood Education and Business offered on the ABAC campus. Finally, there are several well-known and highly respected two-year programs of study from which students may choose such as Art, Criminal Justice, Forestry, Nursing, Wildlife just to name a few.
If you aren’t sold yet, wouldn’t you want to earn your degree with nationally recognized and caring faculty in relatively small classes?  Wouldn’t you want to attend intercollegiate sports at no charge? On campus housing is first-class, and when you’re not in your room, you can go fishing in Lake Baldwin, play golf at ABAC’s Forest Lakes Golf Course, or ride your horse on campus. You might also volunteer to work on the ABAC farm, the newspaper The Stallion, or the literary journal, Pegasus. If you are a music lover, you might join the jazz band, concert band, or one of the choirs. You can be as active on campus as you want in one of the many clubs, and if you like travel, you can study abroad.  ABAC students have studied in China, England, France, and Germany, among many other countries. Now, if you haven’t made ABAC your State College of Choice, maybe you need a tour or more information. We hope to see you on campus soon.
